Dr. David DiMeo

Veterinarian

Dr. David DiMeo graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and has been caring for pets ever since. He worked for other veterinarians before offering in-home care. In 1990 he decided to open a hospital with his wife, Dr. Julie Pelto in Rhode Island.

The new hospital became a pet care leader offering many advanced procedures such as ultrasonography, digital radiography, dental radiography minimally invasive surgery and in-house laboratory services.

Dr. DiMeo was a member of the RI State Board of Veterinary Medicine for 9 years, a delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association for 8 years and president of the RI and New England Veterinary Medical Associations. In Memorium
Paula

On July 12, 2020, the Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital family suffered a devastating tragedy. Our lead technician and friend, Paula, died in an automobile accident. Paula was a caring, loving person and an absolute joy to be around. She was a shining star whose light was extinguished too soon. Her absence is deeply felt. She may be gone but she lives in our hearts and minds. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
